Measurement and Benchmarking Mandate

Work collaboratively with all industry stakeholders to create a historical database measuring the construction productivity of Alberta projects and put an on-going measurement system in place.

Use the historical data to determine correlations between key project variables and construction productivity and identify project Best Practices from this data that will enable world-class construction productivity.

COAA Benchmarking Initiative Moving Forward!

In order to identify the Best Practices that will enable world-class construction productivity, the Construction Owners Association of Alberta is moving forward with a Benchmarking Initiative that will record key data from construction projects all over Alberta.

Thus far, we’ve received overwhelming support of the program from all key industry players, as well as the Alberta Government, who will be contributing significant funds to support this initiative.
