SAIT Polytechnic delivers WorkFace Planning training on behalf of the Construction Owners’ Association of Alberta. WorkFace Planning (WFP) is a best practice that emphasizes the development of small, manageable work packages in construction projects—it is about getting the right things, to the right people, at the right time, so that construction crews can perform their work safely, effectively and efficiently. The four-day WFP Fundamentals workshop provides participants with the opportunity to develop strong analytical, organizational and planning skills required as a WorkFace Planner. This hands-on workshop is targeted at members of the WorkFace Planning team, WorkFace Planners, WorkFace Planning leads, and Material and Equipment Coordinators, but will also be of interest to employees directly involved in WorkFace Planning at owner, construction, engineering and EPCM companies or to anyone interested in developing a working knowledge of WFP.
