The COAA's Best Practices XV was held at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton on May 15 -16, 2007.
The event was a big success, with more than 650 delegates participating in 10 workshops over the two days. Attendees also heard presentations from demographics expert Dr. David Foot, University of Alberta School of Business Dean Dr. Mike Percy, and the COAA's own Best Practices Committee Chairs on the Association's activities in 2006/07.
Alberta's Minister of Education, Immigration and Industry, Iris Evans, was also on hand to present this year's Best Practice Awards.
Many thanks to all who attendend and helped organize this event.
One extremely popular element of this year's conference was a presentation of Brent Schroeder's Getting It Right rap, which was performed live for delegates and presented in video form.
