COAA Safety Committee Mandate:

The Safety Committee members will work collaboratively to improve overall safety culture and performance in the Construction Industry by:

A combination of identifying, developing and supporting implementation of leading edge industry safety philosophies, practices and tools that will contribute to improving cultural and safety performance for Owners, Contractors and Labour groups.

Guiding Principles:

• Work collaboratively with owner companies, contractor companies, labour providers, educational institutions, government and other industrial associations.
• Openly share information to maximize lessons learned from incidents and successes.
