- Improve the supply and the effectiveness of the construction workforce, including championing apprenticeship programs and employment of apprentices.
- Develop strategies to influence potential workers, key employers and government decision makers in order to improve construction workforce supply.
- Inform the strategies and tactics of COAA and others by collecting, analyzing and disseminating construction workforce supply and demand information.
Contracts Committee
Standardized, balanced documents and processes to improve clarity, consistency and efficiency.
- Develop standardized formats, structures, terminologies, definitions, processes and checklists to facilitate clear and productive communication between owners and contractors
- Publish standardized templates for contracts, appendices and related forms as balanced starting points for project-specific use.
