Mission

COAA provides leadership to enable the Alberta heavy industrial construction and industrial maintenance industries to be successful in our drive for safe, effective, timely and productive project execution. We achieve this by: 

• Stimulating positive change based on shared vision 
• Providing a forum for dialogue, common understanding and shared vision among owners, contractors, labour providers and governments
• Creating and championing implementation of Best Practices in the construction industry 
• Bringing new ideas to construction industry and government leaders

Our Members

The Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA) is comprised of Principal Members who are users of construction services in their day-to-day operations. The COAA represents a broad cross-section of owners’ interests and is associated with many sectors of the Alberta construction community. The COAA is also comprised of Associate Members providing construction services and other activities. The COAA engages with owners, construction and engineering contractors, government, labour groups and other construction industry associations.
